You know my entire life has been a journey of awakening my heart and soul to higher consciousness.After going through my second divorce in January this year, I have been doing a deep dive into my Soul looking for answers and receiving healing for my heart. For many years I have believed in having a personal relationship with the God of my understanding. But recently, have been feeling like I would like the support of a spiritual home, so when I found a new church, I started attending.
The holy spirit is definitely there and I received healings and shifts of consciousness, so yesterday when they asked for people to become members and become baptized, for the first time in a very long time, I said, Yes, I will join and be part of something.
So I put on my shorts, shirt, and grabbed my beach towel and headed to the beach to join my new church community.
Now, here is where it gets interesting. My heart is wide open, I am feeling like I have finally found somewhere I can just be me and feel accepted and supported. (what we all want, right?)
NOT QUITE.
It seems that I am not worthy in their eyes. Because they had heard I am teaching a “Reclaim Your Goddess” event, they felt this was unGodly, and therefore I am not acceptable to receive THEIR Blessing.

The Pastor would not baptize me! I was not expecting THAT.
I am awake and aware enough that God is always with me and there is something I meant to learn from everything that happens.

There are many lessons, one of them is this:
I have had a lifelong tendency to look for approval from outside myself in the form of relationships and organizations, (can you relate?)

So when I showed up to get baptized and the church said NO b/c I am teaching a class on women’s empowerment. (wow, the energy on this retreat is Running HIGH).
I had to see “rejection was God/Goddess’s protection”. Their judgement of me only reflects who they are, not who I am.
We have lived under the Illusion of human judgement for so long, that when it happens, people don’t even realize that they are doing it! And when they Judge “in the name of Jesus” well, let’s just say that is Hypocritical to the max.
The shift of consciousness is actually embodying what Jesus taught: to be accepting, loving, and forgiving. To go where those need healing and transformation and give them sustenance. If they knew anything about me and my HEART, then they could see that is what I strive to do. (albeit imperfectly).
Only I CAN KNOW my heart. Only I can trust that my work is done in alignment with Divinity.
No one else can tell me who I am. The World will try. but I am DONE with falling for that BS (belief systems).
I choose to believe in me. I choose to bless myself and my mission in life.

WOW! What a gift.
My lesson:
I Am (You are) already 100% God-approved and Loved just the way we are. We don’t need anyone to give us approval. However, we do need to give ourselves Self-Approval.
I share this with you because maybe you have felt rejected, neglected, overlooked, or otherwise alienated from people or institutions in your world. And the biggest lesson of all, and the one that I teach and model for my clients:
“Why are you trying to fit in when you were born to stand out?!” You were born to shine your light and manifest your greatest Destiny. (no matter what ANYONE else thinks).
So, I chose to do what Jesus would do, I blessed their event and walked away in peace. I feel I dodged a bullet by being shunned. Who would want to be a part of a community that judges like that? That is not the God of my understanding, and that is why the shift of consciousness is really about moving past religious dogma into a personal relationship with God.
