You may or may not be aware, we (humanity) is going through a major shift in consciousness, moving away from ego based reality creation to soul-centered living where we are on purpose and living our destiny. Here are 3 signs that you may be shifting!
- Lack of desire to do, do, do. You just don’t want be so task-oriented and have a sweet desire to be more relaxed. For example, I used to think I had to go to a bunch of meetings in order to grow my business, now that I know better, I am quite content being at home even when the so-called “party” is happening.
- Realization about the futility of having expectations about the way things are “supposed” to be. In fact, you start to see that what you think you thought was right-side up is actually upside down. For example, the man the Divine brought to me is not the man my former self would have picked—not in my wildest dreams, yet here we are, happy and in love!
- Greater understanding of those truisms that you heard thousands of times before, and then one day, you actually get it in your bones.
For example, the idea of “letting go, and letting God.” One day when I was holding on with a death grip to my ego’s version of Life to the point of sheer exhaustion, when the let go kind of slipped by me, and all the sudden—kapow! I had the visceral experience of what those words really meant.

Hi Michelle, I just subscribed to your blog. It certainly is inspirational. Nicely done!
As far as adding my own insightful comments, well, here-goes.
3 of many signs I am shifting to a Higher Consciousness:
1). My desire to do becomes focused, honed in on serving others by doing what I love. That might mean packing a lot into the stream of life in a given day, but not in a frenzied, hurried way, but in a passionate, wondrous way, where the channel is open and Love is pouring through—this type of activity IS relaxing for me. Of course, chillin on the hammock with an ice-cold glass of lemonade is part of the deal too!
2). My expectations become more aligned with my ability to follow my heart’s desire. I can learn to experience whatever is in my path and learn from it. Sure there are sometimes strong emotions involved, but when I learn I needn’t always act on them, when I can learn to respond rather than react, I can see my consciousness changing. In addition, I am learning to see a gentle humor in things, especially in myself—I needn’t take myself so seriously all the time.
3). Those truisms you speak of, well sometimes my ears aren’t ready to hear them until they are ready to hear them. One of the biggest shifts for me is to just let things like “not getting it” simply be what it is. I used to shame myself for not understanding something or for not feeling what I “thought” I should be feeling. Now there is an ease in self-acceptance most days. The shame has lifted. And this is largely due to the act of learning to forgive others and myself. It is due to making amends for the wrongs I have done. I am increasingly caring more for the impact I have on the world, and so learning when to be silent, when to speak, when to sing, when to give and share, and when to receive…all these are signs I am pointed in the right direction.
Thank you for the inspiration. Best to you and your wonderful work!

@2d5cdc9ec156491da8712e44379449ae:disqus —I can sense that you are very on track and raising your consciousness everyday—that is “everyday enlightenment”—seeing the humor in things, hearing Truth, and accepting and loving oneself. I look forward to hearing more about your journey!
Great post. Do I dare add a fourth? 🙂
A development of compassion. towards yourself, and towards others.
Or does this overlap with the three you mention?
@hinduspace
thanks for being an eye opener
A wonderful post — thank you for sharing your inspiration and clarity on this Michelle 🙂
Over the last 6 months I have found my business to be increasingly uninspiring (all I want to do these days is meditate, finish writing my book “Feel The Magic”, and spending time with family and friends). And I’ve recently had a total switch to consciously choosing to “see the good” in every situation — excitedly anticipating the manifestation of real soul-desires (as opposed to ego-based desires) and enjoying seeing how the “downs” of life are simply helping me move more quickly towards my “dharma”. The bigger the “road-block” I encounter, the clearer I become — I’m actually finding myself becoming incredibly grateful for the “problematic situations” because they help define my purpose by their contrasting against the things that inspire me and make me feel centered and “true”.It’s such a relief to stop “pushing” and start “allowing”… I’m becoming so very aware that the Divine is inherently and unconditionally good, and all we have to do is trust and be open (letting all other thoughts fall away) and things just “magically” lead us in the direction of our higher purpose. What an amazing journey!
great reflection @Matt McCovann:disqus –ALLOWANCE is one of the 6 stages in the Destiny Discovery process. stay open and aware, my friend!
